Just a warning - I signed a change.org petition a few weeks ago and now I frequently get very irritating junk mail about other petitions from them.

I haven't found a way to stop it yet/

John* this happened to me - there should be an 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom of the email which i clicked and that was the end of that

Very easy to unsubscribe - I certainly wouldn't pick on Change as a site that does this any worse than any other organisation with a marketing brief (i.e. almost all).

James, I do not favour the proposed replacement; I would prefer the current building to stay up rather than what is proposed, that would be little short of a disaster. However I do not necessarily oppose the removal of the current building. Optimistically, I favour an extension of parkland. I therefore have a dilemma over the petition.

The proposal is for Rowan's bowling alley, not the lawn bowls club!

I wouldn't be sad to see the back of Rowan's at all.
