Personal injury lawyer needed

I had a nasty fall on Saturday tripping over road signage left by contractor on pavement. I am freelance and likely to be off work for at least a few weeks so am wondering if I can claim for lost earnings. Does anyone have experience with this kind of thing and can recommend any lawyers/firms on a 'no win, no fee' basis?

Thanks very much for your reply. Yes, someone has taken pictures. I've been in touch with the National Accident Helpline and they have found me a law firm to deal with the claim.
