Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello,

I am looking to replace the internal doors throughout my property but have noticed the door frames are slightly smaller than the standard size. The doors sold at B&Q, Wickes etc measure 1981mm x 762cm. I am looking for a door that measures 1920 x 710mm for the bathroom. Does anyone know where I can buy standard 6 panel white doors at this size similar to the one below:

The door that is already on seems to have been botched and looks like 2 separate doors stuck together to form a bi-fold door so i'd definitely like to change it having just had the bathroom redone

Thanks

Hi - 28" doors are a standard imperial size (711mm wide)

The height is an issue though as imperial doors are typically 1981mm high. You can either

- Find a solid core door and trim it. Will squash up the proportions of the rails a little, but probably ok.

- Buy a standard/hollow core door and trim it. These aren't recommended to be trimmed as much as the lippings aren't that thick. So you'll need a carpenter to try cutting off the base and re-lipping it. I wouldn't advise it, but it is done.

- Ideally, amend the height of the frame, maybe it's been built out to suit their botch job. Or get a door made bespoke (££)
