Does anyone know if there is still a peregrine falcon nesting at Ally Pally?
Just spotted one in our garden (N10)

I don't know JP but very interesting to read that they're doing well in urban areas like London.

Yes I spotted that. Presumably it helps that there are no gamekeepers in London poisoning birds of prey to protect grouse and pheasant shoots.
Just wish it had taken a feral pidgeon rather than one of the lovely collared doves which frequent our garden.
Never cease to be amazed at how much wildlife we have in north London — have also had a couple of hedghog sightings in past year
Don't know if it's nesting in Ally Pally, but there's one been spotted around Ally Pally in the last few weeks. My wife saw it chasing pigeons a couple of weeks ago, and according to this website it's been spotted by others too.

Hi JP there are no record of Peregrines breeding at Ally Pally, however individual (young/unpaired) birds have used the building and transmitter at various times. I recently saw what appeared to be a young bird chasing pigeons over Wood Green at dusk. Stuart
