What is Pedal Power?

Pedal Power are a north London cycling club for people of all ages with learning and physical disabilities. Pedal Power have a range of specialised bikes that provide a range of disability friendly opportunities to experience the joys and benefits of riding.

Pedal Power run their sessions throughout the week and weekends at the Finsbury Park athletics track, New River sports ground, and at Emirates stadium.

Why are Pedal Power crowdfunding?

Pedal Power are looking to fundraise money to purchase two new specialised ‘side by side’ tricycles. These types of tricycles are the most popular at their sessions. They allow for both the rider and their carer to cycle together. The tricycles Pedal Power currently operate at the end of their well-used life and need replacing. As they are so specialised, they are very expensive, costing approx. £7,000 each!

They have recently been offered £7000 of match funding, but it can only be granted if Pedal Power can raise the other matching £7000 – they are only £2400 short of this target!
