Patryk, Brilliant Handyman

Patryk has kept our house in good order for many years now, He’s really good at home maintenance. We have yet to find the limits to his abilities – though he’s told me he doesn’t do plumbing! Aside from that, he’ll put his very capable hand to anything. He has just finished a day’s work sanding and oiling our not inconsiderable kitchen wooden worktops. They look like new. And, as he did the same job a few years ago, we know his work will last despite the hard wear those worktops take.

A few months ago he was here installing hand rails on the lathe and plaster walls of two mezzanine stair cases. He made sure the rails are rock solid (I’m no longer the SlimJim I used to be so they need to be well solid!) and seamlessly made good where needed. Previously, he put hand rails down into our cellar, much needed as the stairs are very uneven.

Patryk keeps our home safe and in good order. No job is too small. He also paints and decorates and does small electrical jobs. For us he’s reset a drawer that wouldn’t shut, put up a blind, insulated door frames. He knows our home better than we do! He’s the handiest of handymen.

And he’s a really lovely person too :)
