Part-time Events Manager Needed

WE NEED SOMEONE TO MANAGE A MONTHLY MUSIC EVENT IN LONDON

SoundAdviceUK is a music and media project based in Dalston, London. As an experiment in 2011 we ran free live music events called Acoustic Sundays on a monthly basis at Downstairs @ The Vortex. Mainly local musicians were "paid" with a professionally produced performance video for their websites and the event was a great success.

We now have a new venue in a totally refurbished church crypt with inside and outside space and a new cafe and kitchen. We now need a manager with energy and vision to organise these monthly events that bring the community together and give musicians a performance space and a free promotional video.

We will provide support, advice and cover all expenses, but you will be the key person, booking musicians, co-ordinating and publicising the events and leading a team of volunteer and professional workers. You will have a share of profit that will increase as the event becomes established.
