Parkland Walk appeals for volunteers this weekend

Despite glorious weather at the weekend (or maybe because of it!) the Friends of Parkland Walk didn't get the turnout they hoped with cutting back bramble on the grassy embankment between Upper Tollington Park and Stapleton Hall Road.

So they've put out put another call out for volunteers to join us this coming Saturday.

They're asking people to try and find an hour or two to go along and help. "Without volunteer help much of the walk runs the risk of being lost to invasive and overly successful plants", say te Friends. "We really do need more help. Lots of people who join us say how enjoyable and satisfying the day turned out".
