Park Theatre up and running now.

I went to see the opening play - These Shining Lives - at Park Theatre last night and as a regular theatre goer  (National, Donmar, Almeida and Sadler's Wells to name a few of my favourites), I feel very happy to add the Park Theatre to my visit list. I feel happy and relieved that I wont have to travel too far to visit a high-quality theatre. The play's story was brilliantly written, acted, produced and directed and I laughed, cried and finally cheered it. Could the theatre be added to FoL's Arts / Entertainment Venues / Theatre in What's On? I recommend this play and this wonderful new theatre very highly . Okay, you do not know me or my critical ability but the theatre is not too far to give it a try. I am going back to the studio-size theatre there called Park90 to see their other play - Yellow Face - this weekend. Anyway, keep watching their website at least.

Okay, now for a little criticism of Park Theatre. Their phone line is not answered for ages. I think this may be to do with funding and lack of staff BUT PLEEEASE do not let this put you off. You can book online but if you have any direct questions to call them about this will need patience.

When you go there the atmosphere is great and it is so easy to get to just by walking through to the 'back' of Finsbury Park station.
