Park Road Lido Reopening this Month
As those of you who visit this Crouch End institution will know, there has been a complete refurbishment of the historic Park Road lido.
The final phase of work will see the pool repainted and filled, new turnstiles installed, landscaping of the area around the lido and the fitting out of the changing facilities and kiosk.
The lido is now due to open on Friday 15th August.
There will be an opening event on Saturday 23rd August with free entertainment and activities for the whole family.

I just checked, the lido isn't open today and the opening event on the 23rd has been cancelled. There is no new opening date. Shambles.

THE cover story of yesterday's H&H Broadway was, Lido re-opening delayed – again
The full story is on page three, together with comments of the Council's Lead Member for the Environment who is quoted as saying,
We are bitterly disappointed about the impact this will have on local people's summer holiday plans to use the lido.
The £15,000,000 to be invested by Fusion in three Haringey leisure facilities over three years, may in part reflect a lack of maintenance of same facilities, over a longer period, by said council.
