Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Paradise "Restaurant" Turnpike Lane

Stopped on Turnpike Lane to get some takeaway, randomly went into Paradise Restaurant. It did not look the cleanest which i only noticed after i ordered.

So when i was leaving i looking in the window to see the Food Standards rating which they are legally required to have "in a prominent place" i could not see one. Alarm bells

Got home googled it

It's compulsory in Wales to show the score but not in England.

Shame because Paradise food is very tasty- some of the best freshly baked naan in the area!

I’d recommend eating at Le Chamarel along there, which is a fantastic Mauritian restaurant.

Great curries and a sparkling clean kitchen at Salim's (turnpike lane, near Wightman Road). Since c.1978.
