Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Decided it must be dead easy to make Panini/foccacia as I don't want to schlep up to Lidl all the time(tho they are cheap and good there) Looked online and its all complex or American measurements. Anyone got a good simple recipe? Or even a good Harringay shop for them?

Paul Hollywood's bread recipes are all good with simple instructions. Easy to find ont tinterweb. I know, I know...he's very annoying.

Thanks Sharon. He has some interesting recipes I may revisit but his panini one says 'allow to rise for 6 hours' at which point I went to Lidl and bought a dozen @ 25p each! the freezer it is then!

Hahahaha! I would've done the same :-)

What is it that Lidl are selling as "Panini" (which just means sandwiches, right)? Is it ciabatta?

Well yes, but in the basic rectangular shape you get in cafes etc. I think its the same basic recipe but ciabatta when so described is usually a bit bigger.....

Philip* Are you asking for ideas for different ingredients to go between two slices of bread ? You are a master mickey taker, well done.
