Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I am a new mum living on the Ladder and my daughter is due to be starting Orange Day Nursery in January. She will be 6 months old when she starts and we chose Orange partly because it was one of the few places that takes babies that young. However, before we go ahead it would be great to hear from other parents who have children (& younger babies in particular) at Orange. Would any parents with kids at Orange be willing to share their experiences with me either here or privately (by email or in person)? My email is tancol242@gmail.com

I'd also be interested to hear about alternative childcare recommendations for 6 month old babies in the neighbourhood.

Many thanks in advance!

Planet Tiny nursery has a building and team just for babies from 3 months. My son has been going to planet tiny for 2.5 years and I'm/ he is really happy.

Thanks Jojo!

Tanya,

I have had two kids at Orange over the past 5 years. My youngest is still there although in the pre-school room but it is a great nursery. It had a really rough patch about two years ago but the owners dealt with it really quickly well and recruited Melissa the manager who is really good. All of the staff are very caring, really lovely with the kids. Both of my kids have been really really happy there, made some great friends, and really been prepared for school.

Thanks so much Allie, this reassuring....

If you are looking for an alternative to nursery Julie & Muni Mussa are a mother/daughter childminder team on Willoughby Rd, a few doors down from Orange. They have looked after both of my children and provide a wonderful, warm family environment. My daughter is there currently and absolutely loves it - 020 8341 5867.

Thanks Kate!
