Only 25% of the Green Lanes grill restaurants visited by the council so far are protecting our health

That means 75% aren't.

Shockingly 75% of the restaurants visited by the council to date using solid fuel grilling do not have filters in place to prevent harmful pollutants being pumped out into our community.

This is quite frankly astonishing – especially given the amount of refurbs we have seen over the years.

All restaurants now know the dangers these unfiltered cooking methods pose to our health, our children’s development and our quality of life.

We are asking - who is making a change? Who is not? And why not?

Shortly we'll be publishing the names of the restaurants that have these modern filters in place (electrostatic precipitators) – let’s give them our support and thank them for investing in our community’s safety.
