Just wanted to get myself on here and introduce a new initiative brought forward by Haringey Council and the Met police. Online Watch Link or OWL as it is more broadly known as is a website that does two things. Its helps you the residents get up to date information about your ward from your local police officers about crimes, good news stories, engagement events, weapons sweeps and so on. It also allows you to reply to any posts that the police send out via email. The second thing it acts as is an online Neighbourhood watch, although it is not here to take over the current Neighbourhood watch, merely to support the current structure and help bring in new people to NHW. There is an app that comes with OWL that is on google play and the app store. The below link will take you to a press release that will explain OWL from the people behind it.
