Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Apologies if I'm massively late to the party, but after all the noise about library cuts I thought I should join as an adult (rather than just using it as a children's lending library.) I've discovered the online catalogue of ebooks available which is amazing! I am really blown away by the quantity of books that I have available to me right now. Some have a waiting list, but you can always go into your local library and get them to request it. This seems like a really good resource and I was surprised I'd never heard of it before.

Yes, and the app that they brought in when they changed their systems has really changed the way I use the library. It's very easy to reserve and renew books now and I don't need to have my library card with me -- I just use my barcode on the app. I love it!

Which app do you use for this Julia? I've got Libby but can't get my barcode to come up on that.

If you search for Haringey Libraries in the app store, it should come up. Links here. I remember having problems logging into Libby also. Can't remember how I solved it! (It's possible that a librarian helped me.)

Found it, thanks. Much better than Libby, and lets me link my kids' accounts too.

Just wondering, as I have used Libby in the past to read e-books and listen to audio books from the library and I do have issues with it every now and again. Can you read e-books or listen to audio books from the Haringey Library app or just reserve/renew IRL books?
