Cheers Ant - corner of Frobisher. Never noticed it before. Bomb site house?

Less than a year ago since I predicted this!

I bet the person that ends up getting this, will rip out all of the beautiful original features and turn it into a modern home! URGH! Wish I had a couple of million knocking about - I'd buy it right now and preserve it.

This house is clearly post-war - and like Hugh I think it is probably on a bomb-site.  By my standards it is a 'modern home' already.  Fortunately the metal-framed single-glazing that I bet it had once has already been replaced.   And given the way Estate Agents harp on about 'original features' anyone who removed any these days would have to be off their heads.

post war remember it being built late 1940 s and it was a former bomb site irene neil

Thanks Irene.

lots of 'off their heads' owners on our road then...

on another note, it looks like the current owners keep animals or birds, I wonder what?

Dogs. That bark a lot. Everyone around here will be thrilled to hear they are moving away.

Are they kidding?

I've seen much nicer house for sale on the ladder for £300k-£400k less. But then I'm a fan of Victorian houses, not post-war.

And a £1 million house with a 'lean to'?!

This would make a lovely HMO.

Don't TW, we're not safe till November.

I'm not aware of any other Harringay houses that have hit the £1M mark, marketed or sold; Haringey houses, yes, easily long long ago. If I've missed some, I'd be interested ion seeing links.
