I would have though PR is a good thing when you want to sell your house. Unless the agent is planning on selling it as a possible conversion, and has now realised we're all aware of the sale and the fact that it is ONE house. So any sneaky conversion plans are well and truly buggered.
I think it is still available just the live link has been changed, perhaps thats what happens if they update the ad or something?
I don't know if its worth a million but for comparison, this more traditional Ladder house is just across the road and for sale at £715k, which isn't such an unusual price these days. The £1M one is bigger and detached and has a seperate double garage and a really big garden.
After being taken off the market the day after this story was published, it's back on again at a bargain £995,000!
It's now on the market for £1,100,000.
I wonder if it will sidestep the no-conversion rule like the Wightman Road property because it's not selling and due to its size?
Might Foxton's already know it? "Amazing opportunity for development."
.....and I saw a five-bed (4 with attic conversion) in Pemberton yesterday on the market at £875,000.
