Old pound coins....

I've received more of them as the deadline approached then passed. I've kept one or two for the lockers at Tottenham Green Pools & Fitness. There's been no info on whether they now take the new coins but they are constantly getting stuck when the new coins were first brought in and a poster went up to say old coins only.

I've managed to spend the others but Waitrose refused to take one! Argh just remembered I have a coin jar - might have to take that to the bank.

The Salisbury is collecting them on behalf of Crisis if you can find anyway to spend them.

Had one refused this afternoon, then saw a notice refusing them in another shop...but it's strange to find so many still in circulation if they're no longer legal tender, isn't it?
