Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Not splashing out?
In the height of summer my little (and not so little) ones have always enjoyed the simple pleasures to be found in splashing around in two and a half feet or so of water in the borough's free paddling pools. But this year - they are still resolutely closed! I'm sure they're normally open by late June. All there was in Bruce Castle park yesterday was a puddle of water and some teenagers doing wheelies in it.
Then the weekend before last I was in Lordship Rec and the pool looked utterly decrepit and was surrounded by weeds.
Anyone know what's going on......? Has the council made any sort of announcement?
