North London Hospice Community Links Project seeking volunteers

North London Hospice serves the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey a diverse population of a million people.

The Hospice is currently recruiting vounteers for its community links project. More information and an application form are attached.

As part of North London Hospice diversity strategy the Hospice compared the profile of patients with census information and area demographics. This research showed some groups were under represented. In response to these findings the Hospice developed the community links project.

The community links project aims to engage with potential users of Hospice services who belong to marginalised or socially excluded communities.

A series of workshops will be held with community groups to gauge:-
How the Hospice is perceived within communities
To promote the service the Hospice provides
To feedback any issues/concerns to the Hospice
