On Thursday 8th July North Harringay Primary School will open its doors and gardens to the local community, children, families and prospective parents. Visitors to the school which is located on Falkland Road N8, will get the chance to meet the Headteacher and other staff, see examples of children's work, go on a tour of the school including the roof garden and greenhouse where the children grow vegetables, see the solar panels which reduce the carbon footprint of the school and even sample the school dinners.
Other activities at the school include breakfast and after school clubs, a Parent and Toddler group, a pre-school for 2-4 year olds, inter-school sports (tennis, cricket, football, and cycling), music lessons, educational visits, a very active Parent and Staff Association which raises money for the school, a big emphasis on sustainability projects (which has won Haringey Greenest School Award, Eco Award) and also international links with a school in Tobago.
Everyone is welcome to attend the open evening which is from 4.30-7pm
