I have a Nikon F-801S 35mm SLR camera with Super Paragon PMC II 35-75mm lens. Used but working, it saw my husband happily through his art degree.
£30 cash
Technical specs can be seen here: http://camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Nikon_F-801
I don't have the manual anymore but they can be bought online for only a few pounds or downloaded for free here: http://www.lensinc.net/freeuser.html
To clarify, this is a film SLR, not digital.
It's beautiful but aren't there specialist camera selling sites or ebay?
Sure, and I will ebay it if necessary, just prefer to offer it to my neighbours here first! ☺
I have the similar but more basic F 301. Still outperforms my digitals and I use it for important photography. Take exposed film to Boots ( yes really ) and they transfer the negatives to CD which you can then load into your computer for further tweaking.
There used to be a Nikon shop on Tottenham Court Rd which would have bought your camera for a lot more than £ 30 but, sadly, they've gone as a result of redevelopment ( no pun intended ) and consequent rent hikes.
*sigh* I wish those old shops still existed, am very fond of the old camera, but need the money! :-(
