No reason to share this on HoL really - I just think it's a great piece of work - love it. It's to be part of the Shoreditch based "Night Contact' event in September.
As project manager for Channel 4′s creative diversity team and video commissioner for Dazed Digital, Ravi Amaratunga has seen a lot of great work which crosses the boundaries of film, photography, installation and digital art.
“As part of C4′s Random Acts strand I commissioned Mark Leckey’s Pearl Vision which is a great example of mesmerising visuals with real artistic substance that can be adapted for a variety of displays across split screens and different types of projection.
“I think giving multiple homes for your work and engaging different types of audiences in different ways is really important for these days. Mark’s film has been on TV, screened at film festivals, and taken an experiential form at various galleries. He’s captivated audiences in many different ways as a result.”
