New Women’s Neurodivergent Group
Hi
After years of knowing, but only now, at long last, being diagnosed neurodiverse
(Just as perimenopause is hitting too! TMI anyone? Well, we do like to over share :-))
But finding getting help quite a struggle - I was wondering if anyone would like to set up a social/support/chat group?
I’m not sure how this can work - maybe meet ups in a local quiet cafe - midday on Sundays?
Or just a WhatsApp chat where we can chat.
If you message me, I’ll add you to a WhatsApp chat that Im going to set up and we can decide how we’d like to proceed with this.
I hope this could be a nice support group.

Thank you! I knew for years but just getting on the waiting list took forever, then a year waiting for the assessment and confirmation. And then another 8months for the titration to begin (still waiting!!!) But we will get there in the end!
I’m going to send you my number now so you can add yourself to the WhatsApp group.
There’s just three of us so far but I think that’s a pretty good result when I only posted this idea a week ago!I’m sure it will grow as there really are just so many of us out there!

It helps explain so much, doesn’t it?
I’m feeling a big mix of excited, confused, pi**ed off that it wasn’t picked up on 40years ago(!!!) but overall validated because I’d known myself for years and a big relief that it means we can now take steps forward to learn how to deal with things better.
