Does anyone know what's opening on Green Lanes where the old Class International food shop used to be?
Although work has been going on for some months, it seems to be ramping up now although it still isn't clear what the new business will be...
If anyone has any news, please share!
Thanks

The grapevine has it that Dogtas is moving into this premises from the old Queen's Head. So who knows what's happening. If that's true, that would be two furniture stores opened on Green Lanes since Disneys closed The other is opposite Selale in the former Cyplon premises).
So what will happen to the Queen's Head? Didn't David Schmitz get something into the planning that meant it had to revert back to being a pub? Jam-in-a-Jar could move in there!!!!
Do you think a pub on the site similar to The Prince and The Westbury would do well?
The planning permission given to Dogtas required the ground floor to be retained as a pub subject to a council-led viability study. It was ignored and never enforced. I think too much time has no lapsed to seek to enforce it.
pretty shocking and a waste, not sure it would be worth the investment required to return it to a pub
There was a loophole that they exploited. The condition was that they were not allowed flats above unless it was retained as a public house. Guess what? They have a "live in guardian" occupying the building above the shop.
You know...Douglas.....
He's the guy you........well I won't say in public.
