Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

New Iranian cafe / restaurant on Green Lanes

Out on Green Lanes yesterday, I noticed a new cafe / restaurant in the spot recently vacated by the short-lived Fogo Vivo by Harringay, Green Lanes station.

I popped in to say hello and have a coffee. They were very welcoming. The team is quite a Middle Eastern / Horn of Africa mix - Iranian chef with an Egyptian-Sudanese guy and a Lebanese.

The balcony is now a nice place to sit away from the Green Lanes traffic. The inside ha been done out in  Middle Eastern tented style.

Rania's Cafe only opened two weeks ago so is just finding its feet. Let us all know if / when you try.

Nice view taken from McDonnalds drive-thru. Makes green lanes look countryfied.  also opposite the cafe is the Railway Fields real woodlands
