Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everybody,

as I am very new in the area (and also in London) I am bit lost...

...and therefore very happy about all news and tipps from your behalf! I am living near White Heart Lane Bus Stop. Whats around? Where to go for a coffee or a beer? Where to go shopping?....

Get on the 341 and have a wander up to Green Lanes and have a look around. We've got some great food shops! There are lots of other interesting places too. Hopefully we will see you soon!.

Green lanes towards Manor House stations, there a lot of nice Turkish/Kurdish restaurants. If you like to experince new food you should try tantuni or cig kofte, cig in turkish means raw, and yes it is raw meat mixed with a lot of hot herbs, but its nice. Or if are a sweet tooth try some kunefe, trust me, you wont be able to eat more than one but its very sweet and hot. Goes nice with some tea. But the best is lahmachun, good food on the go and its cheap.
