On my recent trip to Stroud Green Library, librarian Don Holtum gave me the full tour. This included a nose around the land at the back of the library. I'd recently been reading about growing spaces (using unused urban land to grow food) and I thought this small patch could do nicely.
So, when I got home I dropped a HoLmail to Jo Homan of Transition Finsbury Park to suggest that she contact Don.
I just noticed from the Twitter stream of Transition Crouch End that the space is about to be put to good use.
For anyone who wants to get involved, apologies for the short notice, but there's a meeting at Stroud Green Library at 10.30-12.30 tomorrow to help clear blackberry bushes and discuss ideas for planting.
Jo, I think I have another good space for you. This time in Harringay. Is it you I talk to or someone in TCE?
