Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Can anyone recommend someone to repair my Krups Nespresso machine? I would rather have it repaired than buy a new machine. The other plan is to arrange to have it picked up and repaired by Nespresso but thought I’d see if there was a more local option.

Thanks

We had a similar situation recently and ended up buying a new machine.

Nespresso charge for the service once it is out of warranty, and the charge is about the same as a new machine!  As an engineer, I considered doing a repair myself, but the machines are not designed for repair in the sense that they are not designed to be taken apart at all.  Having watched the online how-to videos, I decided that it would be time consuming, likely to break other parts of the machine, then you would need to get hold of the parts to do the repair. All in all, I decided it was not worth it.

Hi, Andrew.

Yes, I was thinking the same about the cost of repair being nearly as much as buying a new one. I looked at the online repair vids, too, and I had a chuckle at myself thinking I’d be able to have a go.

Cheers.

Buy a Bialetti moka pot and a grinder. It will outlast any of these machines. It’s cheaper and makes better coffee. I have a 3 and 6 cup pot. It is also better for the environment.
