Need to borrow handheld Dyson DC31 or DC34 battery for 1 minute

Bit of a strange request, but I would like to borrow a battery for a handheld Dyson DC31 or DC34  to see what's broken with mine. I've ordered a 3rd party replacement and it's not worked, so before spending £50 on an official battery that might not work I'd like to check that is the problem. Does anybody in the area have one I could try it with?
