Nasty threatning man in big black VW rolling joints and throwing rubbish!

I was just trying to make a call. There was an incessant “boof boof” thudding through the house. A noisy 4x4 outside, no less. Not normally one to be bothered by this (indeed probably guilty of making too much noise myself at times), but after 20 minutes it got a bit much. I was simply trying to make a call!

I went to ask the guy (sitting in his rather large, black, 4x4 VW) to roll up his window or turn down the music (used as an approximate description for the noise he was making). He glared and threw litter out of the window – the rippings of Rizla that he’d rolled a joint with. How could I tell? Well, it was clearly a joint, and there was a bag of green looking stuff next to ripped Rizla packets, and some fags too, under his arm-rest. He wasn’t offering any either – how un-cool!

On top of not offering me a puff on his doobie, the guy was very rude and quite threatening. This was more concerning. He asked me what I wanted. I said that I wanted to make my call in peace and that I could hear him all the way at the back of my house, whereupon he told me to “f*** off” and threw more paper out of his window in apparent contempt.

I asked him not to do this, he told me again that I should retreat or that he’d “punch my head in”, well words to that effect anyway.

I pointed out that I have CCTV, and he told me that he’d make me perform sexual acts on him in front of the camera, if I didn’t retreat immediately. He was not as polite as I have lead you to believe thus far. I think you’ll understand the gist of the tirade of abuse that I got, without having to be much more specific!

Anyway, not wanting him to insert his member inside my mouth, especially not on my own CCTV, I did retreat, but took his vehicle reg as he drove off, and called 999. The police seemed rather keen that there was a man driving around the local area with weed and joints so clearly on the go… I was more upset at the threat of physical abuse topped off with male rape on my own doorstep, personally!

What a cheek! Has anyone else had rude man in big VW sitting around making noise and threats, while rolling joints? Hopefully he's done nothing more!!

Happy to share his vehicle index and the CAD ref that I have if he has troubled anyone else! Quite frankly, if he wants to be this un-cool, he really does need to be given a strong word from the boys in blue! He can’t be very clever really – I’m sure it’s more sensible to consume illegal materials in the privacy of one’s home, rather than advertising the fact on a public highway, whilst antagonising the local residents who come out to stare!

Let’s hope that he doesn’t come back and smash my windows, or indeed kill me in my own house. I’ll hope that this is not the last post that you read from me, although I concede that some may prefer if it was ;-)

What with all the litter tipping here, the increase in burglary, and the abuse received, one might think that the Met could up their beat patrols. I’m trying to think, but I’m pretty sure that I’ve NEVER seen a copper walking up or down my road on their "beat", in the years that I’ve been here. Granted, it’s steep. Maybe the boys in blue need 4 x 4’s to make it up here too!
