Nasty Accident - Jolly Butchers Hill
Nasty event in road outside entrance to River Park House early yesterday afternoon. Scooter, rider and two pedestrians lying in the road, police gave first-aid, ambulance took them away. No photo as one face-down victim wasn't moving and I didn't want to be ghoulish.

It is also the result of a fast upcoming trend to ride scooters without law , and they are everywhere, they don’t respect the pavements which are originally meant for pedestrians who now have to navigate between cycles and scooters ( which by the way are illegal ) . These scooters have no rules to follow, no speed limits, no lights, no head gear and they are very hard to follow when on the road as they weave their way between cars , when they are not mowing pedestrians on pavements. I must say that I understand the use of them, the freedom it gives but they may need to be regulated or these accidents will happen more often
