Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Good questions. All I know is that the info is postcode based. Finsbury Park is what they've chosen to call N4. Either way 87,000 sounds like a lot. That's about, what, 1,500 a week.
Those numbers can't be right. But surely the %s can't be of the 1.1 million - there are 20 places named and each accounts for 7% or more of whatever they are supposed to account for. That adds up to more than 100%.

Maybe the % is to do with the proportion of people who claim in those areas??
Does the legend in small text beneath the list help?
Certainly does. So is % in area, not % of 1.1 million. Phew!
1.13 million quotes, not claims. No indication of where they got the figures for claims from unless perhaps from the answers to the question " Have you made a claim for....in the past year ? " Statistics, eh ?
Jeez, no co-incidence here (no, really) but I've lived in four of the top eleven and was born and brought up in the number one spot!
Is this a confession, Karl? ;o)
