Sorry to be breaking this news.

A crime scene remains in place where a full forensic examination has commenced.
Thanks to Nigel Lupton for the heads-up.
Heard all the sirens earlier. Knew it wouldn’t be good news :(
Just saw an article in the daily mail and had no idea where it was...now I do. Very close to home.
A young man in his 20's - this is WRONG! Such a sad and tragic end. My heartfelt sympathies to his family wherever they might be.
DCI Andy Partridge, said: “This was a cowardly attack on an innocent man who was shot dead on his own doorstep. Although at an early stage of the investigation, I strongly suspect that he was not the intended target of this attack; making this case all the more tragic.”
So incredibly sad to read this news. Heart breaking.
The victim has now been named by the police as Chad Gordon. Quote from the news release below.
Chad has been described as a gentle giant, he had autism and there is no reason why anyone would want to hurt him. Someone will know who killed Chad and I urge them to make contact with my officers immediately. Chad's family have suffered more than is imaginable, do not add to their suffering by shielding those responsible.”
Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call the incident room on 020 8358 0300, or call 101 quoting CAD 7506/18May, tweet @Met CC or contact Crimestoppers, 100% anonymously, via 0800 555 111.
This is truly horrendous. RIP Chad & condolences to his family.
