Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Informed via email alert.

Muntjac have escaped into Harringay overnight from zoological loan service vehicle. Driver was on his way to Hertfordshire, stopped in Green Lanes for a kebab and a bet (as you do) and some local wag broke into his vehicle.

Muntjac last seen heading for Ally Pally. Any sighting please contact zooloansuk@btinternet.co.uk

Best keep your cats indoors for the moment as the two don't get on.

It's OK, the rebelious muntjacs have been caught, rounded up and sent on their way to intented zoo destination where they will serve out their time as human entertainment. They were holed up in the old BBC studios at Ally Pally. Apparently they intended to broadcast to the nation various grievances. No one explained to them that the nation has now switched to digital.

April 1st 2009, the day of the muntjac rebellion .... alas no more. Still, puts the G20 hot heads protesting outside the Bank of England to shame.
Foxes are plentiful and muntjac (a small species of deer) are seen occasionally.

David Bevan (now retired from council Parks dept) would no doubt have info on this. He does talks/walks via Queens Wood Friends group.
