The real name for these is Ghost Signs and I know there's one on Philip Lane, N15, but I cannot think what it is....

Aren't ghost signs the old painted signs on the sides of buildings? If you look at Justin's old post and visit the link he gives for a piece by the BBC, they seem to confirm that.
