More Off-Peak Seats in New Great Northern Timetable

The new Great Northern train timetable to be introduced on Hertford North and Welwyn services from 14 December 2014 will create 6,500 more off-peak seats. (Timetable attached below)

Great Northern are also increasing the length of a number of their busiest Welwyn and Hertford route services on Saturdays to six cars.

• 20:38 Moorgate to Welwyn Garden City
• 20:43 Moorgate to Letchworth Garden City via Hertford North
• 21:03 Moorgate to Hertford North
• 21:23 Moorgate to Letchworth Garden City via Hertford North
• 22:03 Moorgate to Hertford North
• 22:26 London King’s Cross to Letchworth Garden City via Hertford North

These improvements mean that only three departures from Moorgate after 15:00 will be formed of three cars and will bring more than 6,500 extra seats each week.
