After a great response from HoL members, I've managed to get hold of enough second-hand bricks to lay an herringbone brick path and patio in our garden. Well almost....
I've run out of the core ingredient - bricks. I'm probably about 100 short.
So if you have any old bricks knocking round your garden that you'd be happy to donate to help my DIY project I'd be very appreciative.
I can pop round and pick them up most evenings, early mornings or weekends whenever suits best really.
I know begger's can't be choosers, but ideally only bricks the same size as the standard London Stocks (without the holes in modern engineered brick) please

Great Liz, thanks. I'll pop round tonight or tomorrow to collect them.
Hi Liz, collected them today - thanks so much
I've some bricks you are welcome to have, maybe 50 or 60, at Frobisher Rd. Txt me on 07908 674 013 if you're interested in them.
Hello, I have a load of bricks at the moment, they are standard size without holes. Not engineering bricks. If you need some or all of it, just help yourself PM me if your interested so I forward you my address details.
PS. Some are still stuck together so, you will need to chisel them away.
Regards,
B
