missing wheelie bin ***UPDATE***
if anyone's got an extra general waste (black) wheelie bin knocking about, it could be ours, which has gone missing after today's collection.
we're on Hewitt and our bin has "76" in gold and black numbers affixed to it.
let me know if you come across it as we miss it already...

Our outdoor food waste caddy went missing this week - I emailed them late last night and had confirmation they were sending out another before 9am this morning. Pretty good service (so far at least!).

so, i just had a walk around to see if it had accidentally been put in someone else's garden, but it's definitely gone (i have a sneaking suspicion that it "may" have been collected up when the film crew left on Wednesday evening - they had a makeshift trash-can just near our house on Tuesday for catering waste - but so far the film company have not replied to my email), which means i have to order a new one.
before i can order a new one, though, Haringey/Veolia need to send an outreach worker to make sure that's actually gone! that can take a few days...
it's all a bit of a faff, isn't it?

Yes it’s def a faff. I had mine nicked a couple of years back, and the council were going to charge me a small fortune for a new one. Luckily through this website I found a spare one. And since then both my bins are painted in bright red paint my address, so hopefully deters anyone again
