Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Missing cat - can you help please?
Our much loved cat Merlin has been missing since Sunday night. We live at the Wightman Road end of Seymour Road where he tends to wander through the back gardens between Seymour and Warham Road, and sometimes out onto Seymour Road. He stays out most nights but always returns to the house by 9.30am. I am hoping/ful that he will come back, but my son is very upset so asked me to post here. I've attached some pics; he is ginger & white, nearly 3 years old, quite large, long-haired and very friendly. If you have seen him, please would you get in touch. Thank you, Sandi.

is he chipped? if not maybe ring animal shelters in case some one took him there thinking he didn't have a home... good luck

I'm sad to say that Merlin was found dead in a neighbour's garden on May 2. It looks like he had somehow got tangled up on some netting on their fence and was strangled. We're all - especially my son - are hurting, but we'll be fine and would just like to say thank you for your support and kindness.

How awful! I am so sorry to hear that. I hope your neighbours can do something to their netting to reduce risk of it happening again. I can see from the photo that he was a much loved, well cared for cat.
