Mini Bells for handbags
The following form the Gardens' Residents Association:
Dear All
Sgt Tim Hannah the PCSOs from St Ann's popped in this morning to see me and have dropped off a load of mini bells with clips
This has come from the problem we have due to the high levels of pick pockets on the 29 Bus etc
The idea is you clip them onto your purse inside your handbag or other valubles inside a handbag - so if you are being dipped by a pick pocket you are made aware of someone in your bag/ as the bell rings.
If you want some mini bells please tell me - I have a very large bag of them at my house at the moment.
The PCSOs and Tim will also be distributing them on Wed 18th March 09 between 7pm and 8pm Street Briefing next week.
Please come back to me if you're interested in some.

Calling all Gardens Residents -
On Wednesday 18th March between 7pm and 8pm the Safer Neighbourhoods Met Police Team will be carrying out a Street Briefing/Surgery at the junction of Stanhope Gardens/ Doncaster Gardens next to the Gardens Community Garden.
The idea is the Police will be in the street so if you have any concerns or want to have a chat to the Police about any thing at all - anyone is more than welcome to attend or pop by.
Please tell your neighbours and friends.
The police will be leafleting the local streets of
ie: Stanhope Garden Portland Gardens and Doncaster Gardens to let local people know about the event.
This is the first time we have had such an initiative in the Gardens Area from the Met Police and if its successful we may get more such Street breifings.
If you want some Mini Bells as well The Police team will have them also to hand out to residents
