Million Women Rise to Open Project Space in Blackstock Road

Million Women Rise (MWR), established in 2007 by award-winning campaigner Sabrina Qureshi, is a coalition of ordinary women who want to see an end to violence against women in their lifetimes.

They have recently announced that they are setting up the space to offer support services, holistic treatments, campaigning and social space for women to use. 

To celebrate their launch, they are holding a Fundraising launch and celebration on Saturday 26 January from 3pm- 10pm. All women and girls are invited.

There will be speakers from different women’s campaigns, poetry, food, film screenings (including Audre Lorde ‘The Berlin Years’) and fundraising activities
