Michael Donaghy Award
Some of you may remember my late husband Michael Donaghy, a popular poet and teacher, and all round lovely man. He died twenty years ago this year, and in his memory we are trying to raise money to send one new poet on the two-year Arvon Advanced Poetry workshop.

Maddy, thank you for sharing more about Michael, his character and legacy. What a fitting way to honour this talented and good man. It’s great to hear more about Michael’s work and I’m looking forward to exploring his writing further, but in the meantime wishing you all the best and hope the fundraiser is a great success x
