Marcus Garvey Library - new children's garden

A bit of good news amongst the gloom.

For more than two years, the Library Service has worked to transform a piece of ground outside the Children's Library area. In July 2009 it looked like this. Weeds and rubbish - including a broken chair leg and an old pair of glasses hanging from the wire fence.
