Plainly, Marine Le Pen did nor visit West Green Road on 17th July. (Post title now reworded, Site Admin)Just as plainly your post was not a helpful event information item for HoL members as you posted it two days after the event.
Perhaps you are a member of Haringey branch of the Socialist Workers Party. (SWP) And are keen to make a wider circle of people aware that such a party exists, and it takes seriously the dangers of a rise in fascism. Also that the SWP has the resources to organise such a gathering for information and discussion.
I'm not a member of this group and don't know Gareth Jenkins. Esther, did you go? If so, I'd appreciate a couple of brief paragraphs about what Mr Jenkins had to say and the discussion which followed. Since you took the trouble to retrieve the leaflet; to scan it; and to post it on HoL I assume you too share the worries about the resurgence of fascism in a neighbouring country.

I would have thought Alan that Ms Cohen is simply poking fun at a badly worded poster that ironically appears to welcome the people who the talk was presumably seeking to demonise.
