Durazzo always gets lots of good reviews.
Market at Chestnuts school has amazing amount of variety all excellent quality. But its perch and eat followed by walk in the park (onto Downhills and Lordship Rec..)
Blend, Durazzo or roast at the Great Northern Tavern in Hornsey is very good if you fancy wandering abit further.Or Jam in the Jar?
The food at Moka is always excellent. Plus they've added an organic burger and bun with potato wedges to the menu recently and it's delicious.
Thanks for all the suggestions, i must say i was also thinking about roast at the GNT in hornsey, have never been and has very good reviews
Durazzo is fab- I totally agree
I hadnt thought about Moka or Blend- maybe
we are just so spoilt for choice these days
Here are some pictures from shortly after the GNRT was refurbed in 2011.
went to Beehive last week. Lots of lovely little children roaming about. there is a side room as well where children play. Check first as Spurs home games mean late serving of dinner. Roast pretty decent. Not cheap at £13 though.
sorry but lots little kids running around the beehive isnt selling it to me
I'd recommend Autograph - try the dumplings. I like Passion cafe but I don't tend to eat meals there, rather just coffee so I'm not sure about lunch and it's always full of kids. Don't forget Brouhaha. Although I like the space and menu options at Blend, the food somehow never quite gets it right for me when it arrives and the cakes are always dry.
It's not exactly sunday lunch but a gozleme is always good, try the ones at Hala (I like mixed, or the potato one is a great carb hit). Good for a midweek bite to eat.
