Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello!

This little guy has been hanging around our back garden on Duckett Road (backing onto Mattison) and back door. It's been trying to come in our catflap (which has a microchip lock on it) and meows at our back door. Does anyone know him?

Our offer is still valid. Please email stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com if you want us to help.

Thanks everyone! Gave him breakfast today but I didn't have time to get him to the vets before I left for the weekend. I'll take him when I get back (unless someone else manages to catch him) and let you know what happens. He really is such a nice dude that we're thinking of offering him our house for his home!

He is safely at stokey  now. Good team effort

he came into mine to shelter from the rain and very easy to get in the at box with the too tempting bowl of felix in there. In fact much easier to get in the box than mine and much calmer. Just shows how desperate he must be. Although the felliway spray may have helped

He has definitely been owned but obviously lost or abandoned

well done  stokey

i will update hear any news on him, and I can go away knowing my babies will be chilled when Catman steve moves in to look after them

Amazing  News! Well done - I had been thinking about him a lot this weekend and how I was going to get him to safety. Thanks for letting us know - I would've been worried if I hadn't seen him again!

He or maybe even she is chipped. Waiting

to hear

Hello!

I spoke to stokey as we were going to rehome him .They said that he has a microchip so he has been reunited with his owner. That being said, he's been curled up on my backdoor step for the last hour after loudly announcing his presence with yowls. Ella (from Stokey) asked me to keep an eye on him and I said I'd post here too so you guys could....I get the impression they're concerned about his level of care at home .

Poor little love. Sure you can't adopt him. I also have the same news. My dream is that my cats will chill with him overtine now he is neutured and I can move him in with me over the next few months. Where he will be properly taken care of. They want us to keep an eye for the wee fella. I so hate animal  cruelty

The owner specified the cat will be let out on the street as soon as collected from the vet. This should give you a clear picture of how they treat their cat.

An update on the cat: the cat has been neutered and collected by the "legal owner". The "legal owner" is keeping the cat as an outdoor cat and admitted the cat is "coming and going" and "missing from time to time" but they don't seem to be too much concerned about this fact. As the cat is now neutered he should not be getting into territorial fights however the concern is still there as he has been out on the street immediately after the surgery. Cats should be kept indoors after the surgery and should be brought for post op visit so the vet can check if the testicles are healing and there is no infection spreading which obviously will not happen in this cat's case.  We are disappointed with the outcome and the "legal owner's" attitude. The cat has been neutered free of charge for the "legal owner" and was also given very much needed flea treatment. If anyone of the caring neighbour is concerned about this cat well-being please do get in touch via PM. Thank you.

Thanks stokey.

We will keep an eye out for the little fella. With any luck he will move house and find himself a caring person who wants to take care of him. I m away at the moment but before that hadnt seen him. My resident cat sitter will keep posted

Lindsarian

Have you seen the little fella as he hasn't been round mine since he was netured

Hello! Yep - I feed him each day and he hangs out in our garden quite a lot. He's looking much better but still quite thin and dull looking. My cat is slowly accepting him into his territory :)
