Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Our cat has been missing since early evening on Friday 25th April. He is a big, short haired, black & white cat, 4yrs old, bit overweight, black back, white chest. Was wearing a red collar (but may have come off), neutered. Normally he has a set routine and stays close to home and is never out at night.

The photo shown was taken when he was injured when we took him in at the beginning of this year. So photo shows his facial markings, but he now looks bigger and fatter. You will see from the link below that this is the cat we found living in our garden. (Turned out he belonged to a neighbour who got a dog and the cat was frightened of the dog. Cat's owner was going to take the cat to the shelter, and we decided to give him a home and renamed him Beefy).

I got him microchipped. He is friendly, but timid and easily spooked. He loves food. His usual roaming area is back gardens of Duckett rd and Cavendish rd. Please check your sheds and gardens as he may be trapped or injured. Thanks a lot.

will keep my eyes peeled for him! hope he's back soon.

Good news he's just turned up in the garden!

His collar is missing and he's acting strange, can't get near him and he can't be coaxed by food which is very unlike him. But at least he's appeared in the garden!

glad he's back! hope he recovers soon from whatever his trauma was! poor thing.

Thanks Sally. Turned out he had some nasty bite wounds on his back, that's why he was acting strange. So he's at vets, being sedated, to have the fluid drained and wounds cleaned out...so we'll get him better soon, no doubt with fur shaved off and looking a bit weird!
