Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Running a small ceeative project for local disadvantaged unemployed/economically inactive women over the next 3 months and we are looking for donations of sewing machines (domestic, industrial, overlock, etc) to use on the project. The women will be learning about textiles and specialist techniques leading to creating bespoke items of clothing or accessories to donate to charities or individuals in need, or sell and put back into the project. Any associated free items, material, sewing tools, etc will be happily utilised and given a happy home.

Hi. We have an industrial sewing machine. Old but in good working order. You're welcome to it. Am away until mid week if you can wait that long. If still interested let me know.

Thank you, Milly, we are still interested.  I will organise transport later this week or early next week. Can you let me know how large the machine is and your preferred collection day/time. My email address is preeti@collage-arts.org so you can message me directly.

Hi will be free from next Tuesday. After that any day is fine. It's quite heavy but two people should manage. I will email you end of week when I'm back. Thanks

I was having a clear out of cupboards at home and have quite a lot of unused haberdashery items such as buttons, zips, ribbons, upholstery piping etc.  Would you be interested in that kind of thing?

Hi Antoinette,  Thank you, we are interested in haberdashery items.  Can you email me your details to preeti@collage-arts.org - thanks, and I'll organise collection.

The charity shop on Green Lanes...not Marie Currie or the one near Tesco's....has one on display ourside.
I guess it won't be free though!

Thanks for letting us know, we'll have a look at it.

I have an old Frister & Rossman, metal on wooden base, does zigzag and worked ok last time I used it. I have a car so could bring it to chocolate factory (if I can work out how to get there when not on foot!)
